Zero BS: Now Dermatologically Tested and Dermatologist Approved

In an era when separating fact from fiction can be a challenging endeavour, we are thrilled to present a remarkable milestone in our Zero BS journey. We are excited to announce that as far as we can tell, we are the only tallow-based skincare brand in the world with both dermatological tests and dermatologist approval. Yes the science is in, and Zero BS is officially Dermatologically Tested and Dermatologist Approved.

For the last two years, we've heard countless positive testimonials from our hundreds of loyal customers, but now, we have concrete, empirical evidence to back up what they've been saying all along. Our clinical trials were conducted by a third-party laboratory, independently financed by a government body with no vested interest in the results. These trials adhered to internationally recognised Good Clinical Practice Guidelines, ensuring the highest standards of quality and ethics.

The results from these trials reveal that Zero BS is not only Dermatologically Tested but also Dermatologist Approved as a completely non-irritant product. Our tallow-based skincare is gentle on the skin, suitable for sensitive, fragile, delicate, and vulnerable skin. It has been clinically proven to possess remarkable anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, along with antibacterial and anti-fungal capabilities. This unique medical profile makes Zero BS both a cosmetic and therapeutic product, addressing a wide range of skin concerns.

Part of the study involved human volunteers, including 5 % with sensitive skin. The products were tested in a randomised, blinded study. Observations were made at various time intervals: 0, 24, 48, 72, and 96 hours after application. These test took 2 weeks to complete.
During these trials, the laboratory employed de-ionized water as a negative control and a 1% sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) solution as a positive control. The positive control, SLS, had a visual score of 2.00, signifying its irritant nature, while the negative control, de-ionized water, achieved a score of 0.76, categorising it as non-irritating.

Now, the most exciting part – the results of Zero BS products: Not only are we a non- irritant but on the whole our products are 20 % less irritating that the negative control. Our unique combination of essential oils actually increases the anti inflammatory properties of our product. Making them designed for purpose in supporting sensitive and vulnerable skin.

What we found even more surprising is that laboratory that follow internationally recognised Good Clinical Practice Guidelines use a 1% solution of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) solution as a positive control. SLS is a common surfactant (foaming agent) found in 90% of personal care and consumer goods, often used at concentrations between 10% and 30% in commercial products. Why so many cosmetics companies would use scientifically proven irritant in their product is beyond comprehension and talks to the BS in the cosmetics industry. Of course all our Zero BS products are SLS free including our Soap Shampoo and Shaving Foam Bar.

Zero BS goes beyond standard skincare. It's not just a cosmetic; it's a nutritional therapy for your skin. Our products support your skin's natural mechanisms, allowing it to function optimally and take care of itself. Whether you have specific skin concerns or simply want to pamper yourself with high-quality skincare, Zero BS has you covered.

This groundbreaking development reaffirms our commitment to providing gentle, effective, and trustworthy skincare solutions. Zero BS is not just another product; it's a skin-loving revolution, powered by nature, backed by science and approved by dermatologists. Embrace the power of Zero BS and experience skincare like never before. Your skin deserves it and so does the planet.
